Inspiration
I’ve been so impressed with Walden’s programs and the support Walden offers, and that’s the reason I refer people. I want them to know that their dreams can come true if they do not give up. Continuing your education helps you personally and professionally—it’s your ticket out of a dead-end situation.
I know there are a lot of people who would like to continue their education but don’t know how to go about getting started. I’ve been encouraging people to think about Walden. Some of the people I’ve talked to say, “I couldn’t do that,” and I say, “Yes you can if you want to—I can show you how.” If they knew where I came from, and how I got to where I am now, they’d know they could do it, too.
“Getting a bachelor’s degree is a requirement for moving ahead at FedEx, where I work. My mother-in-law told me that Walden is a good quality school that would work well with my schedule and that the people were very friendly. It’s working really well so far. I like talking to people from all over the country in my classes—it’s interesting to hear their stories.”
